WHO WE ARE AND WHAT IS OUR AIM

The “Associação de Comerciantes de Equipamento e Produtos para as Artes Gráficas” (ACEPAG) – Association of Tradesmen of Equipment and Products for Graphic Arts - a private enterprise established by public deed dated February 18 th , 1991, aims, generally, at looking after the interests of its associates and its dynamism, namely in the face of Portugal's integration in the European Union.

Once it represents a sector of commercial activity that, due to the specification of its trade, is limited to a comparatively small number of companies linked to this business, a large number of enrollments were not foreseen. Nevertheless, we already count with a reasonable number of associated companies, around forty.

We are looking forward to count soon with fifty associates, having in mind not only better financial conditions and, consequently, greater operating efficiency, but and fundamentally to achieve the moral strength resulting from a wider representativeness of the sector.

We wish to emphasize, amongst the benefits offered to our Associates the following:
•  Legal consultancy in accordance with the established pattern;
•  Periodic organization of seminars and courses for sales staff and managing executives;
•  Negotiation of special conditions for attendance of fairs and other enterprises of interest for the business;
•  Information on both local and international markets;

The Association is presently renewing its image and areas of activity based on the experience of more than a decade of ACEPAG's existence.

This is the reason why we are preparing a wide plan for further initiatives to be implemented during the current year, offering our Associates an ample support in legal consultancy, training, insurance and any other issues that may be deemed of interest as far as our business activity is concerned.

We sincerely hope that, with everyone's cooperation, we will achieve our target especially in face of present time of uncertainty which represents such a challenge for all of us.
